Your Space - Mel Gibson Accused of Racism Again!
It seems Mel Gibson can't win these days without losing. Despite good reviews for his new movie Apocalypto, he's being accused of being racist ... again. Mel is a very talented, but also an off-beat and contradictory guy. He has a self-a According to USFDA, a combination product is one composed of any combination of a drug and device; biological product and device; drug and biological product dmitted alcohol problem, an inclination he shares with his dad. He is a devout member of the Catholic traditionalist movement that rejects the reforms of the Second Vatican Council. The old Latin Mass remains central to its rites. This s ; or drug, device, and biological product and fixed dose combination would include two or more combinations of drug. Examples of combination products may in ect has made a number of odd statements about the current state of the Vatican. These people make Scientologists seem eminently rational. Some commentators thought The Passion of the Christ depicted Jews in a racist fashion, and that the movie was reviving the age old slur that it was the Pharisees an here is enormous increase in the number of combination products entering the market in the recent years. Combination products have proven advantages but fixe their fellow conspirators who were responsible for the murder of Jesus. Christian Jew baiters throughout history evoked the accusation when they wanted to stir up anti-semitic hatred. The "Christ killer" motif has threaded its way throug d dose combinations are still in the process of convincing regulatory authority on their advantages over the single ingredient formulations. Combination pro hout the centuries and some claim it resurfaced in Gibson's movie. Some real life evidence hit the headlines recently that supports the claim that Mel has Jew issues. When he was pulled over on suspicion of being DUI, the Malibu cops cla ucts have become life saving products for the pharmaceutical companies who doesn’t have many innovative molecules in their product pipeline and have been inc imed he yelled racial slurs at them. When he was taken to the station he apparently said the following ... "You motherf****r, I'm going to f*** you." "F*****g Jews ... the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Okay, we a easingly used in the product life cycle management. Even the companies having product patents are trying to extend their product life cycle through the combi l have our bad days. Mel obviously isn't the upstanding Latin wafer recipient some of us imagined him to be. But it was a little surprising to see the director of a Jesus movie engaging in racist profanities while badly wasted. His most nation products and maximize the revenues. But the companies involved in this practice are overlooking that they are burdening the patients both economically recent movie Apocalypto chronicles the collapse of the Mayan civilization. This hasn't gone over too well with activists in Guatemala who are predictably using the "r" word. The offended say that freaky looking Mayans with weird piercings and physically. They need to rightly judge the benefits of the combination products and they have to even look at the risks involved when combining the produ along with depictions of human sacrifice, promote stereotypes about their culture. Give me a break! Soon it won't be possible to depict any early peoples as they actually were without some group crying racism. I saw the movie Bravehear ts. Some of the combination products were well accepted by physicians while others suffered. Companies involved in development of combination products are fi in which Mel played William Wallace. The clansmen were depicted pretty much as they were back then in those hard bitten days, and as someone with Scots-Irish blood I wasn't even mildly offended. It was very nasty back then. Life was short ding difficulty in defining their combination products and facing various challenges from selecting a combination to marketing it. Following aspects would a and usually brutal. Isn't art is supposed to reveal these deeper truths about the human condition? How is a director supposed to feel confident in his/her artistic license to explore beliefs about a given historical period (as an artist, dd to the challenges in developing combination products: Which markets to tap where the combination products can do fairly well? Which combination prod not as an academic researcher seeking to establish facts) - if legions of the offended are waiting in the wings with protest placards ready to go. What's wrong with people these days? It's as though a lot of them get out bed in the morn cts are meaningful and rational? Which therapeutic categories to select? Which Combinations can address unmet needs of the patients? Do combin ing determined to find something that will offend them, and preferably something that is sue-worthy. The Italians have been getting hot under the collar about the Sopranos, again the same old stereotype angst. So what if stereotypes exis tions increase the patient compliance? What would be the developing cost? How to tackle the risks encountered during combination product developmen in the popular mind? Isn't that something that comes naturally to us ... isn't it part of the human condition? I mean if most of the Irish guys you know have a fondness for guinness and most of the Sicilians you know are into black marke t? As combination products don't fit into the traditional categories of drugs, medical devices, or biological products, the USFDA is in the process of devel t goods, does stating that fact make you somehow a prejudiced person? Okay you could add the caveat - "but of course not all Irish people are guinness enthusiasts and most Sicilians do their business on the up-and-up" in order to appease ping new procedures for reviewing their safety, efficacy and quality. Professional from academic institutions, pharmaceutical industries, health care indust the guardians of correctness. So maybe Mel should have made an announcement along the lines of ... "of course we are not implying present day Guatemalans are into human sacrifice". But how boring is that? Always having to explain yourself y and representatives from various regulatory agencies are working out to design the regulatory requirements for manufacture and sale of combination products just so some political correctness referee doesn't blow the whistle. From all I've gleaned about Mel I would say yeah, he probably has a streak of racism in his make-up. His old man has more than a streak judging from his anti-Jewish pol . As there is an increasing trend of the combination products companies manufacturing such products should be able to tackle the problems involved in the de emics, so maybe Mel is suffering from some kind of generational spill over effect. But then we all have less desirable streaks of one sort or another. I'm sure he has admirable sides also. Obviously he needs to clean up his act because dr elopment. They need to be wiser in analyzing the market trends and the regulatory requirements. Companies that provide selfless information through particip unken rants like that are bad for the career, aside for anything else. As for movies ... the last thing I want are directors who feel afraid of telling it the way they see it out of fear of offending someone who is desperate for air time tion in industry events and feedback to regulatory authorities would be able to face the challenges and will be successful in developing combination products
